Who asks people out while they are pumping gas?
This is the story: Christen pulls into Wawa parking lot. She starts pumping gas. Boy looks at her. Walks inside Wawa. Boy comes out of Wawa, notices my New Jersey license plate. Tells me he's from New York. We talk briefly about school. He asked if I had a boyfriend. I said no. Then realized I should have said yes. He proceeded to ask me out. I said "Dude, I don't know you." He replied with "Well we could get to know each other." I said. "I'm flattered, but no thank you." He respectfully went to his car. I went toward my car. I stopped, turned around, then told the boy that even though I was not interested, I still appreciated the fact that he had the courage to ask a girl out because a lot of boys just don't do that anymore."
Then I drove to New Jersey.

Funny story (I'm currently telling you this at work), once upon a time, a boy came up to me while I was pumping gas and asked me what my name was. I said it was Mary, but it's not. (Mom's name and first name that came to my head). He then asked if I had a boyfriend. I said yes. This wasn't true at the time. I felt guilty for telling a falsehood but I thought he was creepy but still nice. Weird. The end.
