SNOW much fun! :]

Yes. It SNOWED.

In Virginia Beach.

Despite all the haters saying, "I'll believe it when I see it. It NEVER snows in Virginia Beach," it dumped snow on the Regent campus!

I woke up at 8:00 this morning, anxious to go outside. by 9:30, I had to get up and go outside. So I dressed up in my snowboarding gear then made snow angels and wrote my name in huge letters in the fresh powder.

Eventually, my friends came outside, we had a snowball fight! Okay, we had like.. 328596738 snowball fights! :] We walked to the lake, ate lots of snow, then had a delicious biscuit breakfast.

The best part of the day was BY FAR snowboarding! Dan, Jordan, and I hopped in Jordan's car and took turns pulling each other by a rope across the Comm parking lot and through the Commons. A video will come soon. Then we attacked a snowman and a grad student yelled at us. Boo on you grad students.

Today was great. I LOVEEE the snow!

Four Things.

thing 1
My friends at Regent are on a constant search for fun. This year might be the most fun year I have ever had. It's not that we go on trips or have a lot of organized fun things. We just look and see fun opportunities upon each new horizon. For instance, last night, after having lots of fun in the Student Center, Nic, Jordan and I had more fun outside of the Comm Building. If you stand in front of this one light that illuminates the building, it casts a HUGE shadow of you, almost the size of the building. So the three of us played "Hi I'm a huge monster/zombie/pterodactyl" until the light shut off. It's moments like these that I really value my fun friendships.

thing 2
I have really missed my Coastlands crew. I have a new appreciation for the church after being distant the past semester. Today was so fun, seeing my friends; such a great time of fellowship.

thing 3
Tour was SO long ago. I watched my tour video again today and it brought back such fond, but distant memories. It feels so far away, almost like it never happened. It's weird. I miss it. I miss the people.

People are awesome.

thing 4
Catherine is the best sister ever. Here's why:
1. She smells good.
2. She's probably the most spiritually mature 12-year-old I have ever met
3. She has the BEST laugh.
4. She's a lot like me :].
5. Her favorite food is chicken nuggets. Or something... haha.
6. She is beautiful!
7. The girl can rock a pair of purple skinny jeans.
8. She is innocent.
9. She can dance really well to "Low Rider"
10. Her eyes are a sparkling blue.

Some people just don't get it.

You don't use Comic Sans. Ever.

I love college.

I've always loved college.

This week in particular I have realized how different my lifestyle is than my family's. I stood in church on Sunday and was like, "Wow, this is wayyy different that church at home." That's okay, because it's my life. It's different.

I am having so much fun this year.

My friends are great.

Trader Joe's is amazing.

My classes ROCK.

God is good.

Life is amazing.

What up, oh10?

2010 is here. Crazy. I'm back in Virginia Beach now. Home was nice, but it's good to be back!

I started classes and work today. My first class, Exploring Interactive Communication, was incredible. The media around us is changing rapidly. It's insane to think that what's "all the rage" will soon "jump the shark" and become old news. Sure, the Droid looks sweet now. Give it a few months. Something bigger and better is already in the works.

I'm about to finish my RA application right now! They are due in about a month, so I need to get it in. I really hope I get the job. I personally think I'd be a fun RA :]. Be praying about it!

Anywho. Best of luck in 2010. I have some New Year's Resolutions, but that list can come later :].

Peace!
